Product FAQs
What is UFB Dual™?
A compact inline valve that uses normal water pressure and flow to generate ultrafine bubbles, typically about 150–200 nm, for distribution to connected outlets.
Is UFB Dual™ a water filter?
No. UFB Dual™ generates ultrafine bubbles; it does not trap or remove contaminants and does not replace required filtration, disinfection or other water treatment.
Does it need electricity, external air or treatment chemicals?
No. The valve operates from normal water pressure and flow, uses no external air supply, and does not dose treatment chemicals.
Where is it installed?
For whole-property use, it is generally installed on the main water supply in a location assessed for the plumbing layout, flow, pressure, access and any compatible treatment equipment.
Does the valve require maintenance?
UFB Dual™ is designed for minimal valve maintenance and uses no replacement UFB cartridges. Connections and surrounding pipework should still be inspected and maintained under normal plumbing practice.
Who can install it?
Installation must be completed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the NCC, AS/NZS 3500, WaterMark requirements, local requirements and current manufacturer instructions.
What does the biofilm testing show?
An independent accredited US laboratory test using established Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm reported a 93.5% reduction after 24 hours and approximately 99% after 14 days under the tested conditions. Results are test-specific and do not mean water disinfection, sterilisation or guaranteed field performance.
